Happy Holidays!
It's hard to believe that another year is almost past and the Holiday season is here again! This is a great time of year when everyone's hearts are a little lighter, smiles come easier and children cannot wait for Santa's arrival! There are sure to be many holiday events taking place in the community, so visit the Neighborhood Website frequently to see what you can get involved in!
Welcome to Your Interactive Neighborhood Website!
The website address was selected to reflect the name of our neighborhood so that we can all easily remember and identify with it. This site was designed specifically for you, with all of your needs and interests in mind. Our intent in provding this site to you is to serve as a means to bring all of us neighbors together and provide a source of easily accessible information.
There are many things we can do with this site. It won't be fully developed overnight, but some of the short-term plans for it include an area for you to post pictures of neighborhood kids, pets, activities. We'll be keeping a calendar of local and neighborhood events, a recipe exchange, classified ads, a database of local tradespeople for our referral, restaurant recommendations, movie showtimes, and much more.
For starters, let's electronically introduce ourselves by posting pictures of families (group or individual), pets, and others in the pictures section. Simply go to Add Neighborhood Pictures or e-mail a photo to me at mcpenn@sbcglobal.net and include who is pictured, your street address (or just the street name) - so we can mentally link you with your location - and I will take care of the rest.
Eventually, I hope that this site will be one of the first places you visit when you want information, be it the neighborhood, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, or more. There's even a Google search box for when you need something out there on the web somewhere.
Meanwhile, please enjoy this site and use it often. If you have friends or family who might be interested in any of the information you find submitted here, simply email the page to them!
